Ultramarine live + Oscillate Sound System featuring selections by Higher Intelligence Agency and friends + Modulate VJs
Groove based electronica in a unique small space, with a bespoke sound system and warm visual frequencies.
Ultramarine, electronic duo Ian Cooper and Paul Hammond, have released multiple albums since the 90s including their classic Every Man and Woman is a Star (Rough Trade 1992), United Kingdoms (featuring Robert Wyatt) and A User’s Guide, an Oscillate favourite, which has recently been reissued on WRWTFWW. An album of previously unreleased material from the late 90s, Routine, is due for release by Blackford Hill in Spring 2025
Ultramarine toured extensively in the 1990s, including in the US with Meat Beat Manifesto and Orbital, and with Bjork on US & European tours for her album Debut. They also played twice at Oscillate. A recording of one of these performances can be heard on our Oscillate Archive

Doors open at 9.00 pm, bar closes 2.30 am, music ends at 3.00 am, so please arrive early for the full journey!
